Conference

Chatham House

Chatham House’s Conference in 2023 explored global challenges and brought together diverse and multigenerational policymakers and representatives from the private sector, academia, NGOs, and civil society.

The Conference coincided with the 70th Anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Chatham House wanted to highlight how this, and other international system of rules, laws and pacts appear to be foundering.

At the heart of the conference was a hands-on interactive installation for people to share how the Universal Declaration of Human Rights had affected them. In their welcome they were given a leaf and encouraged to write their experiences on it and hang it on a tree sculpture.

This leaf motif, alongside an aerial vein-like view of London was used across their delegation pack, AV, video, exhibition graphics and online.
